How about rating them ‘requires improvement’?

We all require improvement at times. Will they never learn?

    Notice to improve!

Actually, I was being kind!!!! inadequate. With too many improvements to start with, but shall we try.

All too often an unhappy, stern looking person with a clip board wanders around your room, scaring the children by invading their personal space, then at the most inappropriate times ask you for a copy of your lesson plan!

The big problem is that they now have a political agenda. Whilst never truly apolitical since Sir Wilshaw was put in place they have become a tool of a minority of the current administration. I am old enough and cynical enough to take their decrees with the contempt they deserve. That I imagine makes me fit their ‘get rid of teacher’ profile, however it is the fact that they have decided that the ends justifies the means so if a few young teachers are abused in the process so be it. Also if you worked for OFSTED and your new boss denigrated everything you have done over the last 20 years how would you feel?
